This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds may be issued for our consultations, clear aligner treatments, and related services. Please read this policy carefully before booking with us.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Refund Policy applies to all consultations, treatment plans, clear aligners, and related services purchased through mygiggles.in, WhatsApp, phone bookings, or any in-person interaction with the Giggles team or our partnered clinics.
2. Consultation Fees
Initial consultations and smile scans are conducted to assess your suitability for clear aligner treatment.
Where a consultation fee has been charged, it is non-refundable once the consultation or scan has been completed, as it covers the time and expertise of our orthodontic team.
If you cancel or reschedule your consultation at least 24 hours in advance, any consultation fee paid will be held as credit toward your future appointment or refunded in full at your request.
3. Treatment Plan Deposit
Once you choose to proceed with a clear aligner treatment, a deposit is collected to begin your personalised treatment plan.
Before manufacturing begins: If you decide not to proceed with treatment before your aligners are sent for manufacturing, your deposit is refundable, less a reasonable administrative charge to cover the cost of clinical planning, 3D modelling, and orthodontist review.
After manufacturing begins: Once your aligners have been sent for manufacturing, the deposit becomes non-refundable, as the aligners are custom-made to your specific dental impressions and cannot be reused.
4. Refunds During Treatment
Clear aligner treatment is a multi-stage process, and we understand that circumstances may change.
Within 14 days of receiving your first set of aligners: If you experience genuine medical issues that prevent you from continuing treatment, and these are confirmed by our partnered orthodontist, you may be eligible for a partial refund. The refund amount will be calculated based on the stage of treatment, the aligners already manufactured and delivered, and the clinical work already performed.
Beyond 14 days or once treatment is well underway: Refunds are generally not available, as the aligners for your full treatment plan have been manufactured and clinical resources have been allocated to your case. We will, however, work with you to address any clinical concerns and adjust your plan where possible.
5. Defective or Damaged Aligners
If any aligner you receive is defective, damaged in transit, or does not fit correctly due to a manufacturing or clinical error on our part:
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the aligner.
We will arrange a free replacement at no additional cost to you.
A replacement is offered in place of a refund in these cases, as our priority is to keep your treatment progressing without disruption.
6. Treatment Outcomes
As outlined in our Disclaimer, individual results may vary based on the complexity of your case, your adherence to the treatment plan, and your biological response to treatment. Refunds are not issued solely on the basis of dissatisfaction with treatment outcomes where the prescribed plan has been followed and the clinical work has been delivered as planned. If you have concerns about your results, please reach out to us and we will work with you to find a clinical solution.
7. Non-Refundable Items and Services
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
Completed consultations, scans, and clinical reviews
Aligners that have already been manufactured and delivered
Services already rendered, including treatment monitoring and progress reviews
Any fees explicitly marked as non-refundable at the time of payment
8. How to Request a Refund

9. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 to 14 working days from the date of approval. Refunds are issued through the original payment method. The time taken for the refunded amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider and is outside our control.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your payment is the policy that applies to your transaction.
